Board Zones

Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative's service area is divided into eleven zones. The consumers in each zone elect their representative to EMEC's Board of Directors, who are responsible for the policy decisions and governance of the Co-op.

Zone 1 The Board Member from Zone 1 is Ralph Ray of Perry. Ralph was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on June 10, 2008. This zone is comprised of: Pembroke Perry Robbinston Zone 2 The Board Member from Zone 2 is Robert Olsson of Baring. Bob was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on June 1, 2009. This zone is comprised of: Baring Charlotte Cooper Marion Meddybemps Plantation 14 Zone 3 The Board Member from Zone 3 is Albert Hartford of Calais. Albert was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on June 27, 2006. This zone is comprised of: Calais Zone 4 The Board Member from Zone 4 is Earl Hill, Jr. of Alexander. Earl was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on July 1, 2008. This zone is comprised of: Alexander Crawford Township 26 Township 31 Wesley Zone 5 The Board Member from Zone 5 is John W. Larkin of Baileyville (Woodland). John was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on May 1, 2007. This zone is comprised of: Baileyville (Woodland) Zone 6 The Board Member from Zone 6 is Vernon Wentworth of Princeton. Vernon was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on May 8, 2007. James was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on July 17, 2007. Wallace was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on June 6, 2006. Ralph was re-elected by the members in his zone for a three-year term on August 1, 2006.
