EMEC 2010 Annual Meeting

Saturday July 31, 2010

All EMEC members are invited to Eastern Maine Electric’s 2010 Annual Meeting.  On July 31st at Katahdin Elementary School, we will welcome our members  with a small gift and a meal ticket for a  free, excellent meal prepared by the Rockabema Snow Rangers.  The atmosphere is informal for most of the afternoon, with music and children’s activities mixed with the occasional prize drawing. 

Schedule of Activities

11:30 am     Meeting Registration officially begins

                       Entertainment starts (lasts until 12:45 pm)

Noon             Food service officially begins

                       Children's games officially begin

1:00 pm        Business Meeting Begins

BUSINESS MEETING AGENDA (1:00 p.m.)

1.    Report of members present to determine a quorum.
2.    Reading of Notice and Proof of Mailing.
3.    Reading of unapproved minutes of previous meeting
       of the members and taking of necessary action thereon.
4.    Presentation and consideration of reports
       of Officers and Directors.
5.    Unfinished Business.
6.    New Business.
7.    Adjournment.

ANNUAL MEETING PRIZES

Grand Prize#1:  $500 cash (company check by mail)

Grand Prize#2:  $500 cash (company check by mail)

Grand Prize#3:   Old Town Canoe (you must be present for this     drawing)

RSVP Draw:      $100 Credit, drawn from the names of those who returned the RSVP card mailed with the June electric bills.

Co-op Kidstop: Grand Prize: Wii video game (value approx. $200)

And more prizes to be drawn at the business meeting.
