Pay By Telephone

EMEC members can check account balances and make payments by phone, 24 hours a day.

Accessing your account by phone is simple and easy to do.

• With your account number in hand, dial the Co-op’s phone number:
  (207) 454-7555 or
  (800) 696-7444
• When the auto-attendant answers the phone, press "1" from the main menu to reach the automated services menu.
• Once you reach the automated services menu, press "1" again.

The automated system will then ask you to touchtone or say your account number. After confirming that it heard you correctly, the system will then provide you with the following information:

• Your last payment amount and date
• The amount due on your account
• The due date for your next payment.

It will then ask if you want to pay by credit card. If you are just checking your balance, the system will offer to send you back to the main menu.
