EARLY-MORNING POWER OUTAGE PLANNED
THURSDAY, October 16, 12:01 A.M. – 5 A.M.
Eastern Maine Electric has scheduled an early morning power outage Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., affecting a wide area that includes Co-op members in the following regions:
- The Route 6 corridor from Vanceboro to Lee, including side roads and Routes 169 and 170.
- Route 1 and sides roads from Waite and Talmadge north to Orient, as well as Bancroft, Drew, and Reed Plantation.
This outage will be preceded by half-hour outage at around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14th. These necessary planned outages will allow co-op linemen to update equipment at the Topsfield substation.
Planned outages are necessary from time to time, but we try to minimize the impact on our members, which is why linemen will be doing this work before most people wake up. For more information, check our website at E-M-E-C-Dot-Com
